Rafael Marquez vs Toshiaki Nishioka, Super Bantamweight, Weigh-in

Toshiaki Nishioka will defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Bantamweight title over Rafael Marquez on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United Sates. Marquez vs Nishioka is a 12 round bout promoted by Top Rank boxing and will be televise in the Mexico, United States and Japan.

Toshiaki Nishioka will be fighting in Las Vegas, Nevada for the third time after his great won on last 2002 and 2006 fight both by ko victory. Nishioka is one of the best southpaw boxer of Japan and the same time defending champion of WBC Super Bantamwieght belt for more than 2 years, 6th defense, after he defeated Johnny Gonzalez  in round 3, tko victory.

Rafael Marquez, brother of Juan Manuel Marquez, has finally get over about the fight against Juan Manuel Lopez in the featherweight division. Marquez was a former IBF bantamweight and WBC super bantamweight title holder. Its been a long time that Marquez wanted to challenge Nishioka for the said title event.
