Nonito Donaire finally will step into the ring again after 8 months of inactivity due to some promoter's issues. Donaire will defend his two world title belts, WBC and WBO World Bantamweight crown, against the undefeated fighter from Argentina Omar Andres Narvaez. Donaire vs Narvaez will show up tonight for 12 hard rounds bout at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA.

Nonito Donaire known as "The Filipino Flash" will be tested against this guy Narvaez who is very determined to win this match cause he will step into the ring for the first time in the United States of America. Omar Narvaez is not a puncher but he is a good boxer while Nonito Donaire is a counter puncher (like JM Marquez's style). Narvaez and Donaire are both southpaw fighters. Donaire has the reach and  4" height advantage over the veteran Narvaez.

Two world division champion Omar Narvaez won his last four fights by unanimous decision including the fight for the vacant WBO Super Flyweight title against Everth Briceno. Not that impressive performance but he was good at on his won fighting style and good defense style. Unlike Nonito Donaire almost of his recent fights are knockout victory especially the last two over Fernando Montiel and Volodymyr Sydorenko.

Donaire vs Narvaez Weigh-in Result

Nonito Donaire weighed at 116.25 pounds while Omar Andres Narvaez weighed at 117 pounds. This is the lowermost weight of Nonito Donaire and his body shape is good but not as best like fighting Montiel. Narvaez looking good in shape but you can see the obvious short reach arm. Donaire can't take this fight lightly. He should better prepare for boxing, not punching.
