Mayweather Jr. proved once again that he is one of a kind boxer after beating Victor Ortiz in
round 4 but there is a big question mark about the fight
result. The fight was a controversial
4th round knockout after Mayweather hit quickly Ortiz after a second of embracing each other. Mayweather Jr. hit Ortiz with a left and followed by a right straight while referee Joe Cortez looking to other side due to some reason and did not cleared out "box".
Victor Ortiz went down after he got hit by a follow up right but before that he(Ortiz) glanced to Cortez after the first punch as if something is not right. Joe Cortez counted and Victor Ortiz not able to stood up and declared the fight knockout victory. Before of the controversial knockout, Victor Ortiz was (29-3-2) deducted by a point due to intentional headbutt while they are on the ropes.
