Amir Khan vs Zab Judah Round Fight Result





Amir Khan successfully defended his World Boxing Association Super Lightweight Belt against the veteran champion Zab Judah by knocking out in round 5. Khan added his belt and now he's the new International Boxing Federation (IBF) Light Welterweight Champion. Round-by-round fight result:

Round 1:

Amir Khan showed his great ability skills by connecting nice jabs and side-to-side movements. Khan connected some right straights and combinations on Judah. At 36 seconds time remaining, clash of head on both fighters causing a small cut behind on Judah's right eye.  Judah not delivering some punches, maybe a measuring round for him.

Round 2:

Amir Khan so quick with his left jabs. Combinations and big right hand for Khan while Judah still not showing his aggressiveness and hotness in the fight.

Round 3:

Khan started with his left jabs. Zab Judah missed his specialty upper cut, Khan should be careful. Strong right hand by Amir Khan at 1:19 seconds remaining. Again, strong combinations by Amir Khan. Judah throwing some counter punches but he looks so frustrated.

Round 4:

Khan started again by connecting a strong right hand backing off Judah. Nice side-to-side movements of Amir Khan avoiding the power shot of Zab Judah. At 34 seconds remaining, Khan landed heavy combinations on Judah.

Round 5:

Zab Judah now in position but Khan quickness connected a left straight. Judah caught by a straight right on his left eye and nose started to bleed. Amir Khan looking now for a kill landed big shots to the face of Judah. At 30 seconds remaining, Amir Khan connected a strong straight right hand and followed by strong body shot hit exactly in the belt line of Judah. Judah goes down and not able to get up as referee Vic Drakulich counted him to 10. Fight was over! Amir Khan won!.

Amir Khan will hopefully face the WBO/WBC Light Welterweight Champ Timothy Bradley next which it could be a another great test for him as he wants to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
