Unfinished Business of Pacquiao Marquez Trilogy

Juan Manuel Marquez accepted the offer of Top Rank Promotions to fight with Filipino boxing superstar Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. The Golden Boy Promotions hopefully agree to this fight which will happen on the month of November in this year. Marquez believes that the unfinished business with Manny Pacquiao will be resolve for this Trilogy bout.

Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum offered final contract with Marquez in May 10 for fighting the pound-for-pound king at the catchweight 144 pounds for $5 million. Juan Manuel Marquez was not hesitate to accept the contract because he was waiting this opportunity for longer time since Manny Pacquiao escaped from a split decision in their WBC Super featherweight bout back in 2008 and lost that title.

Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5-1, with 38 knockouts)  came from a huge victory over Michael Katsidis. The mexican fighter got knockdown in the third round but he came back and proved knocking out Katsidis in the ninth round and retaining his lightweight belt. Marquez is very good counter puncher which the fighting style suited for Manny Pacquiao offensive style.

Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao defeated "Sugar" Shane Mosley in their clash at 147 pounds limit last saturday evening May 8 in Las Vegas Nevada. The 8th division world champion hardly hit Mosley in the third round that sent Mosley down. And after that knockdown, Shane Mosley stay on his feet but backing off and throwing countable of punches as to survived the fight. Pacquiao retained his WBO welterweight crown, was winning  his 14th consecutive victory and proved to all that he is the best boxer in all times.

As of now, Juan Manuel Marquez hoping that the Golden Boy Promotions will agree to his fight contract with Manny, still the unfinished business, that will fall on November this year for their Trilogy bout.
