American boxer Andre Ward (23-0, with 13 knockouts), the current World Boxing Association Super Middleweight champion will defend his crown against an Armenian-German Arthur Abraham (32-2, with 26 knockouts) at Home Depot Center, in California on May 14, 2011. This bout is awaited of boxing fans in middleweight division.

Ward was a amateur gold medalist in heavyweight division in Olympic 2004. Back in November 21, 2009, Ward got a chance to won the WBA Super Middleweight Crown when he defeated Mikkel Kessler of Denmark due to a cut which the referee stopped the fight. Andre Ward successfully defended his title two times via both unanimous decision with Allan Green and Sakio Bika since he won the title to Kessler.
Image via WikipediaAbraham, the King Arthur of boxing, was a former boxing world champion when he defeated Kingsley Ikeke of Nigeria on December 10, 2005 and won for the vacant International Boxing Federation Middleweight Champion. He defended his title for 10th times and retained the IBF Middleweight crown for almost four years. He had been fighting Edison Miranda in the catch weight of 166 pounds and won by technical knockout in the 4th round. The Armenian Orthodox fighter has two lost, lost to Andre Dirrell of U.S.A. by disqualification due to hitting while Dirrell was down in the 11th round and a round-by-round domination of Carl Froch of United Kingdom that leads him to won via unanimous decision against Arthur Abraham.
Both fighters training intensely for their May 14 clash and preparing the techniques to apply in the fight because each boxer knows there have knockout powers.
